I know a girl, maybe you know her, too. You never can tell; she might even be you. She knelt at the altar, and that was the end. She's saved, and that's all that matters to her She's just a Fat little Baby Who Said No to God and i Don't mean Maybe Dave <dcas950467@aol.com> Port Huron, Michigan USA - Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 22:24:28 (MET) Ive been a BIG Fan of Amy Grant since 1984...I have every single one of her records/CD's even ones where she has only one song on the album....Ive ONLY been to couple of her concerts though...and its mostly because there havent been that many near where I live...My girlfriend got me tickets to Amy & Vince Christmas concert next week in NH I can't wait !!! Amy's music has BLESSED me above and beyond words can describe...even the songs that would be called "worldy"...I went to her concert for "Behind the Eyes" and cried thru the whole thing...Her honesty and beautiful spirit ministered to me incredible...I was going thru painful divorce at the time and felt like I was in my living room talking to Amy about it...because of the way she spoke and thru the words of the songs I knew she understood what I was going thru...For those of you that want to judge her all I can say is GET A LIFE...thats the major problem with the church today they spend more time pointing the finger at other christians than doing what they are suppose to do which is reach this hurt messed up world..It astounds me how much the church hurt there own more than help...I Thank god for Amy Grant and Vince...cant wait to see how God uses them to bless others...I know hundreds of youth that have been touched by her so called worldly music...Jesus came to seek and save the lost and if the church doesnt reach them who will...God can use everything we go thru to reach others...Amy has always shown me the Fathers Love and Im thankfull she didnt quit and let the divorce destroy her and continue with Fathers plan for her life....Thank you Amy and Vince... I am disgusted by what I read. It is said in the bible "let he who is without guilt cast the first stone" and obviously "A Former Fan of Amy's" has decided he is guilt free. A mother, J Scudder, says that INsync is a better example for her children than Amy and Vince, but how can that be? Many people brought up "Now that I know the rumors are true,..." but they don't know that any rumors are true. Where they there? It saddens me to see this many people judging Amy, when none of us are blameless. Vince and Amy followed what was in thier hearts and what they believed to be right. Not one of us can determine what God did or did not say to them. You are simply an inspiration to me. My marriage is on the rocks & I'm seriously considering divorcing my husband. We have tried reconcilation & have seen so many counsellors, both secular & Chritian. I really don't see how things can work out anymore between us. I'm currently seeing a very caring man & he's also a divorcee & best of all he is a born-again Christian! PTL Thank you for giving me courage to go on when things have fallen apart. God bless you & Vince. Crystal Crystal <crystal@aol.com> Los Angeles, California USA - Tuesday, November 04, 2003 at 07:45:42 (MET) I love your web site. ASABA <homeboy_owerri_asaba@aba.us> Lome, FLORIDA United States - Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at 18:32:41 (MEST) Today I received the new CD "Simply things" of Amy Grant. It is after years still the highest pleasure I've got to hear this kind of music. What a pity, that there is only every 3-5 years a new album of her, but good music must been given time. Everybody knows. But now I'm at the beginning of my feelings again. So please don't talk to me for the next 6 weeks, cause I'm in heaven. I came acrross this website by accident and i am so glad i did as its fantastic. it is really very lovely and ive enjoyed looking at all the photos of amy on here. take care, regards, suzanne suzanne hokum <nursesue38@hotmail.com> wellington, Wellington new zealand - Sunday, March 23, 2003 at 02:57:18 (MET) Amy is a wonderful woman, with much talent and spirit. Christianity, to me, involves accepting and loving all people. Just as Jesus did. I am Jewish, and do not worship Jesus; but I love Amy's music whether her Christian music or her more recent "pop/secular" music. Her songs convey messages of inspiration and unconditional love. I met her on two occasions and she was extremely warm and friendly. I see her as a wonderful example of a person with a very large heart; regardless of the circumstances that have taken place in her personal life, we cannot judge her. Only God can judge what is in our hearts. It is our job as people to love one another and to celebrate life and do good works for others less fortunate. Dana Rosner <schmuela1@yahoo.com> Los Angeles, California Los Angeles - Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at 09:58:01 (MET) Can I ask a questiong of everyone...I would really like to hear your response. Can anyone determine if Amy Grant has or has not repented from the sin of divorce? If she has repented from the sin of divorce and God has forgiven her, does that mean she can't continue praising Him through song? Where in the Bible does it say she must stop singing if she has committed any sin? Has anyone heard of King David from the Bible? Yet we continue to sing His beautiful Psalms, adding our own arrangements and celebrating his works. The way some of you go on about Amy, you would think the next thing you would do is have the Book of Psalms ripped from the Bible because King David had his adulterous lover's husband killed in battle and then and married her. Thank You! Amy, I just want to express a heartfelt "Thank You" for helping to make a difference in my life through my college years in the mid-80's.
