Amy Grant and Vince Gill
have hit the road with their 2001 "Christmas To Remember" Tour.
The show which kicked off in Houston on Nov. 30th will make
a sweep up from Texas, touch on the east coast, and finish up in Minnesota, spreading
its special brand of Christmas cheer. Also featured in the show, which has
become a Christmas Tradition for many people around the country, is the bluegrass
trio Nickel Creek and young contemporary Christian artist Rachael Lampa.
"The tour is really quite an event for everyone involved,"
Amy says. "I'm always a bit overwhelmed with the amount of work that goes
into planning something like this." "A Christmas To Remember"
will present the talents of over 100 people, including the Nashville Symphony
Orchestra, who have graced the stage with Amy on past Christmas tours. At
any given time during the course of the concert, over 60 people will be
performing on stage together as the event moves through its various festive and
reflective moments. "It's truly a wonderful experience for me and I'm very
excited to get another opportunity to share in what has become a tradition for
so many people across the country," Amy comments.

Amy Grant informed :
"Last night I sang from about 9:00 p.m. until midnight.
The song I'm currently working on is called LOOKING FOR YOU.
If you could see the process of recording at this stage of pregnancy, I know you would get a good laugh out of it.
We're having to piece the song together because I don't have enough lung capacity to sing thru even one verse with out coming up short of breath!
All I can say is that Keith Thomas has the patience of Job, and thank goodness for modern technology.
I'm just glad there's not a film crew lurking around.
This song was born out of our songwriting trip to Destin, Florida last June.
Six of us went on a song writing getaway and came back with some beautiful songs....the memory of several lovely sunsets....a few extra pounds from all of the great food at Seaside....and the inspiration to go back into the studio at last."
